What a beautiful day. Looking forward to a weekend of nonstop memory making with my buddy Linda. I will leave the house to the boys and hopefully it will stay clean! Off to see Martin Sexton play at Studio 92 this afternoon. I'll post later!

Happy New Year to all! Happy Birthday Simon...BIG "43"! Such a youngster still! Hope you're having the greatest day ever skiing in Utah. I'm still left laughing in the kitchen about hearing you exclaim "Holy Cow Batman" and wondering if your UK blokes would think that you are still British! LOL! It is still snowing a tiny big here in Indy. I haven't shoveled snow since Thursday and it looks like the driveway could use another go. I am hoping to get some scrapbooking done this weekend if I can plow through all the crap in my scrap room. Sending happy thoughts about Utah out there! Happy Winter!

Hair Stylists 101

Going to have my hair done today. Hoping the color will last longer than it did the last time. Okay...so here is where I have a problem. Venting on hair stylists...what the heck! How much do you people pay for a color and cut? Taking a poll to see the prices where you live. I can't believe the price of hair stylists...and they actually get away with it. So it costs under $10 for the box of color from a supply store. They work with a pair of scissors, straightening irons, and blow dryers. How could this possibly add up to over $100 for a one + hour appointment??? I don't get it. I should have gone to beauty school!

I'm BACK!

Okay so it took me long enough...still trying to figure out this amazing technology. Went scrapping this weekend with my buddy Linda and got to hang out with some amazingly funny and ultra-cool people. They are pee your pants funny. Made a darling valentine with my new BFF April and had a great time hiking around in the snow. Whatever that was all about. Indiana has no business getting the kind of snow that should be in the mountains for skiing. Looking forward to another awesome weekend. Definitely going to hit a new great scrapbook store in Nashville, IN called Wishful Thinking. Picked up one of my new favorite mags from Somerset Publishing called Where Women Create. Found out one of their creative people is Rebecca Purcell... ANTHROPOLOGIE Queen extraordinaire!! Love that store...catalog...clothes... shopping! Welcome to the start of something brand new for me! I am not a journaler and am hoping this will get me off my fear of writing. Everyone is still snoozing...it is Fall Break and the house is oh so quiet. Time to go for a run soon and make some breakfast!
